Everlane Moraes is a Brazilian filmmaker. She graduated from the International School of Cinema and Television (EICTV) in Cuba, specializing in documentary. She is a creative director at the production company Pàttàki Audiovisual, and an associate at APAN, the Association of Black Audiovisual Professionals. She has been awarded from the William Graves Film Fund through Firelight Media, the IDFA Bertha Fund, and Sundance. Her films move between different genres and formats, highlighting the social, philosophical and spiritual issues of the black diaspora. Pàttàki premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam, and was shown at Sundance and London film festivals, among others.
