Elenie Chung is a filmmaker born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. Her films aim to bring the everyday into sublimity and the unfamiliar to the everyday. Before attending the University of California: Los Angeles for her MFA, she worked at Women Make Movies, a non-profit feminist media arts organization based in New York City, and also served as an assistant for artist Karina Skvirsky. She is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
