Using recent events in Puerto Rico as its point of departure, Aquí is an intimate and rigorous exploration of political protest as an affective space.

About the Director
Carlos Mario is a filmmaker and audiovisual artist born and raised in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, who focuses on experimental film, documentary and video. Aquí is his first short documentary. He is currently working on post-production for his next short film, and as an editor on various Puerto Rican film productions.
