Aniksha is a young Indo-Mauritian woman. After her arranged marriage, she finds a job at a call centre, a booming industry in Mauritius. There she encounters her enigmatic supervisor and discovers a new world of possibilities.

Vincent Toi, born in Mauritius, is an award-winning filmmaker and designer, part of the creative development team at Phi. His work as a filmmaker revolves around the power structure that governs colonised communities. At Phi, Vincent develops an eclectic range of projects rooted in the intersection between creative literacy, digital literacy, expanding communities and social impact. His films have been shown all around the world in festivals such as the Berlin International Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival and Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival. Vincent has also worked with the Artist Institute in direct partnership with communities in Haiti to create pathways out of poverty by expanding access to education and providing training in creative industries.
